In line with the low/no sugar trend, Thailand’s CP-Meiji has added CP-Meiji High Protein Zero Sucrose with almond flavour at the end of May 2019 to deliver a more delicious taste. Each 350ml bottle has 25g of protein, which is equivalent to drinking four glasses of milk. The normal price at 7-Eleven is THB 49.
The dairy company previously debuted CP-Meiji High Protein Zero Sucrose in 2018.
In addition to the new drink with almond flavour, CP-Meiji has increased the protein content in its existing range to 27g per 350ml from 25g. This affects the CP-Meiji High Protein Chocolate Flavoured Milk and High Protein Vanilla with 50% less sugar. Both beverages contain high-quality whey protein from the US, BCAAs, leucine, vitamin B3 and calcium.
