Just when you think you have seen all the bizarre beverage combinations, Kopi Kangen in Indonesia surprises us with a new strange mix of chocolate with Sido Muncul’s Tolak Angin. Known as Kangen Dimanja, this drink not only has the iconic Tolak Angin (“expel the wind”) but also comes with chocolate and fresh milk.
Tolak Angin is traditionally taken to strengthen the immune system, alleviate digestive disorders, and reduce discomfort and swelling.
By combining Tolak Angin with chocolate and milk, the new drink Kangen Dimanja injects a jamu element into coffee and is set to draw the crowds for Kopi Kangen. First set up in Indonesia on 22 February 2019, Kopi Kangen now operates 25 coffee shops in Indonesia.
