To provide extra immunity for consumers looking to cope with the pandemic, Indonesia’s Mayora Indah has added vitamin C into its cereal drink mix Energen since May 2020. The new Energen comeis said to come with extra vitamin C, E and B complex. The existing Energen already contains vitamin E and B complex.
Ricky Afrianto, Global Marketing Director PT. Mayora Indah Tbk mentioned during a webinar hosted by emporio.ai on 23 July 2020 that there was a renewed consumer interest in Mayora Indah’s Torabika Jahe Susu (ginger coffee drink) and Energen Jahe (ginger cereal drink). Sales of these products with ginger rose as consumers turned to ginger to help boost their immune system.
