Johnson and Johnson has recently made available Vivity R-Hidrate in apple and orange flavour in Indonesia. Vivity R-Hidrate or Vivity Electrolyte Drink is suitable for both adults and children. It is said to be a great tasting drink that is scientifically formulated with electrolytes to help keep the body hydrated.
Vivity contains glucose, sodium, potassium, chloride, citrate and carbohydrates.
Vivity is a functional drink for those with diarrhea resulting in dehydration. Dehydration is also caused by vomiting, excess sweating, cold or sore throat and fever.
Hydration plays a vital role in fever recovery. In children, an additional 10% of the recommended maintenance fluids is needed for every temperature degree rise above 38°C.
