Indonesia’s Indofood has announced the launch of Indofood Pedas Dahsyat, an extremely hot sauce made from habanero. In Southeast Asia, the usage of habanero chili in packaged food has gained traction from instant noodle and now to sauce.
Indonesians love hot and spicy food but most of the time, their hot sauces are of local origins or from Korea. Indofood Pedas Dahsyat exposes Indonesian spicy food lovers to another option – habanero to level up the spicy experience. Indofood Pedas Dahsyat with habanero could inspire other food manufacturers to incorporate habanero into their products.
