Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines has announced it will exit the sachet business by 2022 as part of its environmental efforts. The beverage giant makes Eight O’Clock powdered juice drinks sold in non-recyclable sachets in its Cavite-based manufacturing site. This would mean Mondelez’s Tang has one less competitor in the powdered juice category.
Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines will also introduce paper straws and remove plastic straws from its Tropicana and Nutriboost juice and dairy products.
