Nestle Professional Malaysia is promoting Ho Kar Sai (虎咬狮) or Tiger Bites Lion, a drink popularly consumed in Northern Malaysia, to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. Ho Kar Sai is popular in Taiping and is a drink that combines the popular Milo with coffee. Ho Kar Sai is slightly different from Neslo (Nescafe + Milo).
According to the story, people would drink Ho Kar Sai for the extra energy. The feeling after drinking Ho Kar Sai is akin to having the power of a tiger that is able to bite a lion.
Nestle is promoting Ho Kar Sai at kopitiam, which is an important sales channel for Milo for out-of-home drinking occasion.
