KUALA LUMPUR, 13 APRIL 2022 – As part of the effort to encourage Malaysians to take charge of their immunity this World Immunity Month, PROVITAL Immuna Plus have reached out to Malaysians to strengthen their immunity through sampling distribution recently. The effort was part of the campaign “Activate Your Immunity, Stay Protected” together with Malaysian Society of Allergy and Immunology (MSAI)
“Starting April 1, Malaysia will transition into the endemic phase and certain SOPs such as physical distancing will not be regulated. After two years of the pandemic, Malaysians need to also be prepared to go into this next phase. Therefore, it is important now for the public to take note of their immune health and continue to boost and strengthen their immunity,” said Gonzalo Balcazar, General Manager of Mead Johnson Nutrition Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
To date, the campaign by PROVITAL and MSAI has reached out to more than 15,000 Malaysians. They have taken the immunity calculator test to check their immunity level as well as been given the PROVITAL Immuna Plus sample. The milk contains yeast beta-glucan, selenium and vitamin C that provides Triple Immunity Protection. Yeast beta-glucan is known to support the immune system associated with colds. Aside from approaching public places such as morning markets and corporate offices, PROVITAL have also extended their reach to frontliners to seven hospitals in Klang Valley. “We are happy that we are able to reach out to our frontliners through this initiative so they are protected as they continue to take care of patients. We hope that through this outreach, we are able to spark a conversation about immunity amongst the community and encourage Malaysians to be more aware of their immune health” he added.
