Ampang, 22nd November 2023 – In celebration of Zoo Negara’s 60th anniversary this year, HABIB, one of Malaysia’s most beloved jewellery brands, has pledged a donation of RM100,000 and released its latest HABIB x Zoo Negara 999.9 gold wafer coin collection. This marks a momentous occasion for both brands and commemorates the long-standing commitment HABIB has in carrying out its social responsibility and aiding in Zoo Negara’s role for conservation and education.
The HABIB x Zoo Negara Collection 2023 is a limited-edition of 999.9 gold wafers which are thematically inspired by the appearance of dawn in the wilds, signifying the way animals begin a new day and the beginning of a new chapter for Zoo Negara. The limited-edition gold wafers come in six different designs inscribed with iconic animals found in the zoo, namely the white Bengal tiger, giant panda, golden pheasant, African lion, giraffe, and the king cheetah.
