Indonesia’s KFS Food has turned to Himalayan salt to improve the health credentials of its Taro Tempe chips. Instead of regular salt, KFS Food uses Himalayan salt to offer consumers a gluten-free tempe snack with the health halo of salt sourced from the Himalayan mountain.
We have seen Malaysia-based snack food producer Mamee doing the same with its Mister Potato Original potato chips in Malaysia, now featuring Himalayan salt.
