Philippine-based Purefoods Hormel has released corned beef in three variants: Corned Beef Bulgogi, Corned Beef Mechado and Corned Beef Salpicao. The corned beef is 100% pure, featuring a Korean flavour and two local delights.
Beef Mechado is a type of Filipino beef stew, while Salpicao is beef tenderloin cut into small pieces or strips, marinated in olive oil, and sauteed with garlic.
The company has also launched Purefoods Luncheon Meat in Square Can and Purefoods Luncheon Meat Lite with a 30% reduction in sodium.
