Indonesian plant-based food company Green Rebel Foods is tapping into the country’s love of Korean cuisine with their new Korean BBQ Slices. This launch highlights the potential of Korean flavours to attract plant-based eaters and expand the market.

Green Rebel Foods has established presence in most Southeast Asian markets including in the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia. However, in South Korea, after a year of operation, Green Rebel Foods has temporarily halted direct sales to consumers (B2C) to focus on supplying businesses (B2B), including school lunch programs. This shift comes as the company addresses financial challenges.
