KUALA LUMPUR, 14 MAY 2024 – Huggies Malaysia co-hosted the Alam Damai Fun Run to provide the perfect opportunity for families to celebrate this Mother’s Day together while staying active. The event coincided with the exciting launch of its new and improved Huggies Dry Pants where the renowned diaper brand also committed to supporting local communities with a donation to 100 B40 households.
“At Huggies, we understand the importance of engaging in physical activities together to strengthen parent-child bond, foster communication, trust, and create lasting memories. Besides bringing families together for Mother’s Day, we found that the idea of a Fun Run and our brand-new Huggies Dry Pants shared a commonality – promoting an active and healthy lifestyle,” said Mona Shamili, Marketing Manager of Huggies Malaysia.
With its latest product upgrade, the Huggies Dry Pants now comes with improved softness particularly at the leg flaps, whilst preventing any leakage. “We took extreme care to introduce this enhanced softness on the leg flaps as it would lend to greater comfort. Fast and active babies can now move even more freely in their Huggies Dry Pants without irritation to their skin,” Mona added.
Mona further expressed the brand’s commitment to helping Malaysians navigate the journey of parenthood. “We have always positioned ourselves as a supportive partner to babies and parents. Our tagline, ‘We Got You, Baby’ also reflects our dedication to creating products as effective as they are comfortable for our little ones.”
The Huggies Dry Pants is Malaysia’s Fastest Absorbing Diaper with its patented technology – Fast Absorb X-Channel. This unique feature helps to distribute pee rapidly and evenly via the X-shaped channel – keeping baby’s skin dry and comfy for up to 10 hours.
Held at Alam Damai Recreational Park, Kuala Lumpur, the Fun Run was graced by YBhg. Datuk Azman Bin Abidin, Political Secretary to YAB Prime Minister.
A champion of local communities, Huggies Malaysia will be donating diapers to 100 underserved families in the Klang Valley area via Persatuan Kebajikan Sayangi Rakyat Kuala Lumpur. “We believe that all mothers deserve the support they need to nurture their children. As diaper is a necessity for babies, we hope to ease some burdens for families in need and help them celebrate the joy of motherhood,” said Mona.
