Thai President Foods PCL, known for its MAMA instant noodle brand, unveiled its latest MAMA sub-brand, Thai Connext, at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2024. Thai Connext by MAMA offers a range of delicious, authentic Thai-style street food noodles for the global market.
The sub-brand Thai Connext can be divided into Thai, Con or “Connect,” which means “experiencing the Thai heritage culture through delicacy cuisines,” and Next, which means “offering the new and simple version of existing popular Thai dishes.”
Thai Connext by MAMA is initially available in three flavours: Thai Boat Noodles (Thai Braised Pork Noodle), Tom Kha Noodles (Thai Coconut Soup) and Panang Noodles (Thai Red Curry Soup).
According to the packaging designer Dusadee Lamkijja, the characters of the pack represent Thai kitchen cooks where each character is named “smile,” eg Miss Smile (Boat Noodle), Uncle Smile (Tom Kha Noodle) and Auntie Smile (Panang Noodle) to represent the Thai friendliness trait.
There is a global demand for authentic Thai-style street food noodles, and Thai Connext by MAMA is capitalizing on this demand by offering a convenient and delicious way to experience those flavours at home.
