Thaveevong Agriculture Co., Ltd., which makes seafood and coconut products in Thailand, displayed its Gen Tree Date Palm Juice at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2024. The new Gen Tree Date Palm Juice (250ml), which is made from 100% date palm juice, offers the benefits of date palm as an energy booster.
In Malaysia and Indonesia, date palm-based products are popular with Muslim consumers who understand the benefits of date palm due to their religious practices. There is potential to spread the benefits of the naturally sweetened date palm to more users. There are date palm juice products in Thailand and many are using dates grown in the country.
The company’s Gen Tree range comprises coconut-based products, including CoCo Jelly Plus, a flavoured jelly with konjac and collagen in four flavours (coconut, grape, lychee and strawberry). CoCo Jelly Plus is free from added sugar and preservatives. The product contains essential electrolytes, 150mg of collagen and only 10 kcal.
