Mamee-Double Decker has launched Daebak Ghost Pepper Spicy Chicken with an exciting twist. The company first launched this extremely spicy instant noodle in 2019. The new iteration allows consumers to adjust the heat levels from mild, spicy to extremely spicy. It is now available at 7-Eleven for RM 5.90.
The original version, with its extremely spicy taste, thanks to the use of ghost pepper, showcased the brand’s spicy credentials and created conversations around it. However, the extreme spicy taste deters repeat purchases. Allowing consumers to adjust the spicy taste will hopefully lead to more repeat consumption.
