Indonesia’s Orang Tua has recently launched Batavia Highball, which is a new whisky soda mix with a 4.8% alcoholic content. This product (180ml) is also the first highball from Indonesia in a ready-to-drink format. Batavia Highball features the use of half shot whisky from Batavia Whisky and can be consumed straight or on rock.
The product could open up new market segments and consumer occasions, such as after-work drinks or social gatherings. The launch can also help strengthen Orang Tua’s brand image and attract a younger demographic.
