Konjac rice producer is ripe to expand their product line-up to include seasoning powder. In Indonesia, Beeru, known for its konjac rice (beras porang) showcased its range of instant seasoning for rice and konjac rice at SIAL InterFOOD, which is Indonesia’s largest food and drink expo held in Jakarta in November 2024.
While konjac rice is a popular low-carb alternative, its taste can be bland. Brands like Beeru are addressing this issue by offering flavourful seasonings to enhance the taste and appeal of konjac rice.
Beeru’s seasoning includes local favourites like Nasi Opor, Nasi Gulai and Nasi Uduk, which is easy to use. Consumers just need to mix the seasoning with ordinary rice or konjac rice.
How to use:
- Pour one serving of Beeru Konjac Rice (40-50g) into a bowl.
- Add one sachet of Beeru flavoring.
- Pour hot water in a 1:1 ratio, stir until combined, and cover the bowl. Wait for 15-20 minutes before enjoying your new way of consuming Beeru Konjac Rice.
