Pelicana Chicken (페리카나 치킨), a Korean fried chicken chain from South Korea with over 3,000 outlets, has set up its first outlet in Thailand at Siam Square One. Pelicana aims to expand to 20 branches across Thailand within three years, prioritising prime locations in shopping malls and residential areas.
The first outlet is located in an area with two international schools to target a young demographic. Pelicana plans to launch a variety of promotional events and activities to engage with consumers, particularly Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
Pelicana offers a wide array of culinary delights, featuring over 10 distinct sauce options for its signature Korean fried chicken, alongside an assortment of traditional Korean side dishes such as kimchi and tteokbokki. The menu also showcases innovative fusion dishes, such as “Korean Fried Chicken Rice,” which creatively blends Korean flavours with local Thai cuisine.
