Johnson and Johnson has recently made available Vivity R-Hidrate in apple and orange flavour in Indonesia. Vivity R-Hidrate or Vivity Electrolyte Drink is suitable for both adults and children. It is said to be aĀ great tasting drink that is scientifically formulated with electrolytes to help keep the body hydrated.
Vivity contains glucose, sodium, potassium, chloride, citrate and carbohydrates.
Vivity is a functional drink for those with diarrhea resulting in dehydration. Dehydration is also caused by vomiting, excess sweating, cold or sore throat and fever.
Hydration plays a vital role in fever recovery. In children, an additional 10% of the recommended maintenance fluids is needed for every temperature degree rise above 38Ā°C.
