Snack maker Liwayway has taped into the meat-free trend with Rinbee Makado Bae-Con said to offer “meat-free goodness”. The snack with a grilled bacon flavour comes in a crispy bacon shape with an aroma similar to bacon that is grilled on a hot pan. Rinbee Makado Bae-Con is avaiable at 7-Eleven in Thailand and is priced at THB 20.
Liwayway has also made available a new corn snack called Korn-Fu featuring the cheese and sweet corn flavours. In addition to Korn-Fu, the snack producer, known for its Makado potato sticks, has earlier released Makado Puffs in milk and cheese flavours.
