Mondelez has released a better-for-you version of its popular Tang powdered juice in the Philippines. The new Tang Fruit + is naturally sweetened with stevia without added sugar.
In the Philippines, the government taxes sugar-sweetened beverages (SSB) containing sugar and artificial sweeteners at PHP 6 per litre and SSB containing high fructose corn syrup at PHP 12 per litre. Drinks sweetened with coconut sugar or stevia are exempt from the tax.
Tang Fruit + offers 100% of the dietary needs for vitamin C and is a high vitamin D and zinc source.
Mondelez has also launched limited-edition Tang Strawberry Lemonade and Tang Mixed Berries Lemonade with Toy Story characters on the packaging. The limited-time offer is available from 1 August 2024 to 31 December 2024.
