The cybersecurity brand introduces Baru Campaign in conjunction with the recent announcement of its new, simplified consumer solutions portfolio, available for Malaysia users

3 August 2023 –  The new consumer campaign themed, Baru, also means new, is part of the brand’s latest awareness initiative for the consumers to start having security solution as 70% in Southeast Asia believes security solution is needed to protect their phones against cyberattacks, but only 26% have security solutions on their devices.

Data published by Kaspersky recently shows that Malaysia remains top three in terms of phishing attacks in the region. Kaspersky Anti-Phishing system blocked 8.2 million phishing attacks in Malaysia last year.

AIA PUBLIC Takaful Supports Children’s Physical and Mental Wellbeing with an Experiential Learning Outing for Orphanages

Excitement runs high as the children explored and learned about the different sea creatures during their guided tour at Aquaria, KLCC.

Kuala Lumpur, 3 August 2023 – AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. (AIA PUBLIC Takaful) recently organised a memorable outing with 100 children from Pusat Jagaan Penyayang Nur Iman, Setapak, Pusat Kebajikan Amal Rukaiyah, Kajang and Pertubuhan Anak Yatim Darul Aminan, Seremban. 

Accompanied by 20 volunteers from AIA PUBLIC Takaful, the children who were between the ages of seven to 17 were treated to a day of learning and unwinding, as part of the company’s ‘Kongsi Rezeki’ programme – a community initiative launched in 2021 in collaboration with the Malaysian Relief Agency.  

The experiential learning trip kicked off with a guided tour of Aquaria, KLCC where the children gained valuable knowledge about different marine and land-bound creatures. Additionally, the children were then brought over to Menara AIA where they had a great time watching a movie screening while indulging in a scrumptious lunch together with some treats.

Commenting on the outing, Elmie Aman Najas, Chief Executive Officer of AIA PUBLIC Takaful shared that the Kongsi Rezeki programme was initiated with a focus on community wellbeing and enrichment, particularly the physical and mental wellbeing of underprivileged children.

“It’s heartening to see the children enjoying themselves and being fully engaged in the activities carried out by our dedicated volunteers. We believe that experiential learning trips such as this not only helps brighten up their day, but also add meaningful experiences to their childhood. We are grateful to play a part in providing these children with opportunities that enhances their mental wellbeing, social skills and at the same time foster an appreciation for nature and the environment,” said Elmie. 

The three orphanages are amongst the 10 beneficiaries enlisted under the Kongsi Rezeki programme. Through different phases of the programme, these orphanages have since received brand new laptops, living necessities such as bed frames and mattresses as well as other daily supplies worth RM420,000. 

The programme is part of AIA PUBLIC Takaful’s Penyala Harapan campaign, demonstrating the company’s dedication in supporting the community in realising their hopes and dreams to achieve Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

BETAGRO invests 100 million Baht, launches S-Pure campaign, targets sales growth of 17%. Emphasizes being a leader in the super premium food market

Wednesday 26 July 2023 – Betagro Public Company Limited or “BTG” invests 100 million Baht in re-launching its S-Pure brand with its new marketing campaign “If you want to live a natural lifestyle, S-Pure is your No.1 Brand”.

The relaunch comes with a new and extended product varieties, improved packaging designs, the use of paper trays to reduce plastic waste, and an extensive communication campaign to inform customers about S-Pure’s product benefits. S-Pure is the first and only brand in Thailand that has received RWA (“raised without antibiotics”) certification from the NSF USA for all 3 product categories of pork, chicken and egg products, catering to health-conscious customers who recognize the importance of 100% natural pure products free from antibiotics and growth hormones.

S-Pure’s new communication campaign specifically addresses a new generation of health-conscious concerned about nutrition and healthy lifestyles. With its new campaign and product re-launch, Betagro is set to grow the sales of its S-Pure brand by 17% this year compared to 2022, reinforcing its leadership in the super-premium food market.

Dr. Oliver Gottschall, Chief Operating Officer – Food business, Betagro PCL, explained that the super-premium food market is expected to reach a value of 57,100 million Baht in 2023, with consumer spend on meat growing by approx. 10% over the past 3 years. This is partly driven by an improving economy and tourism sector, but also by changing consumer behavior after the COVID-19 situation.

“Consumers are much more focused on taking care of their health, which includes an increased awareness of the benefits of high quality, clean, safe food from sources that can be traced back and trusted. S-Pure’s brand relaunch comes with the launch of its new “S-Pure Prime” products, including home-style Vienna sausage, ham, bacon, as well as bologna made from pork and chicken. All products under the S-Pure prime label are produced free from preservatives, Nitrates, MSG and other chemical additives, less Sodium, using 100% S-Pure meat and natural ingredients, making S-Pure Prime the first “Clean Label Food” in Thailand.

S-Pure is also the first brand in Thailand to introduce paper tray packaging to fresh food products, including pork and chicken products. Paper trays are made from 100% eucalyptus trees that come from planted forests (Forest Stewardship Council). The paper trays are designed to have the same functionality as plastic trays, but reduce plastic use by up to 80%.
